My story
I love to learn and create. I took that passion for drawing and painting to the University of Guelph where I completed a BAS (Bachelor of Arts and Sciences). There I specialized in Biology and Studio Art. I was incredibly lucky to have two professors allow me into their labs to start combining my disciplines. I spent countless hours taking photographs through microscopes… and I loved every second!

After graduation, I kept exploring different mediums. I had the opportunity to participate in Figment, an interactive art festival, that took place on Toronto Island. Building a sculpture with participants of all ages and skill levels was incredibly fun. I saw how engaged everyone was in the process, and it changed the way I approached art.
I moved to Vancouver where I worked in a studio, and my boss was a super talented ceramic artist who shared lots of her knowledge with me (thanks Niki!) Clay took over my life, the combination of form and function, getting messy, watching a creation get fired and transform, working with my hands, learning new skills… it is just awesome!
And now I am here in Windsor and I get to introduce others to this wonderful medium. I want to foster an inclusive, fun space, where you get to learn and make mistakes, connect with others, and create! A space where families can come in and spend time together, but also a space for adults to let go and de-stress for a while.
